Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between the Licensed Educational Psychologist and their client. All services are kept confidential. No information is shared without your written consent.

There are exceptions to confidentiality when the release of personal information is warranted by a third parties such as with search warrant, subpoena, or a court order.

In California, LEPs are consider to be mandated reporters. By law, mandated reporters are required to immediately report the following circumstances to the appropriate authorities:

• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person (s), (notification to the police and the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm self, attempts will be made to obtain their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If unsuccessful, further measures  will be made without the client's permission by law in order to ensure their safety.
